Welcome to Global Learners
Building a strong and accessible global education for students around the world.
The GL Story
We are a group of high school students with the goal of spreading current events and worldwide news within eight facets to elementary and middle schoolers across the United States. Our goal is to reduce media bias and create a beneficial organization for youth. We do this by creating content about international policy, politics, and news that are underrepresented in traditional media. We then project this to national elementary and middle schools along with activities, focus groups, and projects that the kids can participate in during hour-long in-person visits to classrooms, furthering their education about the world in a fun, engaging, and action-oriented way. We are dedicated to not just addressing problems, but inspiring solutions (even at a young age).
We are committed to having a diverse range of members, which includes our national chapter leaders. They are in charge of publicizing our mission to their local elementary and middle schools which entails projecting our content/activities to their schools. If you are interested in starting a chapter at your high school or in your local community, please refer to our “Get Involved” page!
We also have a team of Global Ambassadors who are based outside of the United States. These ambassadors are responsible for projecting information about their country to us, that way we can include that information in our content. If you live outside of the United States and would like to become a Global Learners Ambassador, refer to our “Get Involved” page!

Why a new organization?
“My peers and I noticed a widening gap within the U.S. educational system. A global education doesn’t just teach younger students about topics that they have never even heard of and applies them within a solution mindset, but it also inspires them to seek goals beyond traditional boundaries. Global Learners is such an eye-opening organization for kids to have access to and benefit directly from.”
